The
collision
of destinies
sends
shockwaves
of emotion throughout
the cosmos.
The
energy
that connects us
all
quivers-
then just
as quickly
strengthens.
This
bond within
humanity
seems both
fragile, yet,
eternal.
How it has
survived this long
is unknown,
unfathomable.
Except,
maybe,
to God.
It survives
in spite of,
and because of,
humanity's best efforts
to destroy it.
